The Leadership Development Group (LDG) provides ideas and inspiration for developing leaders using a hands-on learning approach. Leadership skills come to the fore in many different situations, and vary depending on cultures, contexts and organisations. Some believe that leadership is what you are born with; some believe it can e learnt; and others confuse leadership with management or power. The LDG aims to introduce member to varying approaches and ideas for reflection and learning which can be adapted for yourself and/or your organisation.

Topics include what is leadership, strategic positioning, mentoring, evaluating leadership, leading vs. coaching, emotional and spititual leadership and the culture of leadership and teams.

The group suits individuals committed to their own growth and the enhancement of leadership skills.

LDG meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
