Our People Management suite of courses covers a wide range of areas designed to help you be a better people manager.  The ideal courses to start with would be:

• The New Manager, our flagship course attended by over 500 managers a year and covering all the key aspects of people management or;
• Managing, Leading and Developing People, which is also the core unit of AIM’s Graduate Program, which look at the key roles of the people manager and allows you to reflects on your own priorities for development.

Other courses to look at might include Developing High Performance Teams, Effective People Management, Coaching and Mentoring, Generational Leadership or Managing and Implementing Change.

Other courses of particular interest would be those in the Communication and Interpersonal Skillssuite, particularly Effective Communication, Interpersonal Skills for Leaders, Dealing with Difficult People , Conflict Resolution or  Assertiveness Techniques.

Other good courses in our HR Management suite would be :

• HR Fundamentals, a two day course covering the key responsibilities of human resources including legal obligations and industrial relations issues
• Engaging and Retaining Employees, which looks at how to motivate staff
• Recruitment and Selection for Managers
• Appraising and Managing Performance

We also run courses to give you introductory knowledge of different disciplines which you might need to operate effectively in your new role, such as Project and Contract Management, Strategy, Marketing and Finance.
