There is increasing recognition that managers require more than just technical skills and experience in a functional role to succeed. Employers today are expecting their managers to understand finance, strategy, marketing and people management. A Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Management with AIM is an excellent way to build knowledge in these essential aspects of management. The Australian Institute of Management tailors postgraduate education to suit the needs of busy professionals and makes it easy to establish your management credentials.
These courses are designed for those aspiring to higher levels of management responsibility or managers in smaller organisations where it is necessary to operate across a broad range of functional areas or disciplines.
Normally, entry to a Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate requires:
- an undergraduate degree or advanced diploma
- Other candidates with at least five years relevant work experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor may apply.
Participants with some relevant work experience who complete a Diploma of Business with AIM may also meet the requirements.
Individuals are encouraged to contact AIM to discuss their options or, apply and be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
NB: Applications are accepted any time with courses running throughout the year, as opposed to academic semesters.
