This qualification will provide an overview of the eight knowledge areas of project management as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards. It is designed for those with experience in project management who want to formalise their project management skills.
How will this provide workplace advantages for me?
Alongside other project team leaders you will learn the critical processes required to plan, implement and review projects. Using a supporting case study you will develop a Project
Charter, Project Management Plan and subsidiary project plans.
What are the requirements?
You will be required to attend Applied Project Management and then complete a work-based assessment task which will incorporate a detailed project plan and a review of the project implementation. You will also be required to complete a project management theory component on the eight knowledge areas of project management.
