N.B:
Enrolment in these units is limited to those enrolled in a Diploma or Certificate IV

This unit is ideal for project team members, anyone new to project management and anyone for whom project management is part of the role. It provides an overview of the four phases - initiation, development, implementation and finalisation.

How will this benefit me?

With most work allocated as discrete projects, this unit attracts a broad range of participants from a diverse spread of industries. You will be involved in a variety of practical projects as you practise the concepts and language of project management, including:
• project lifecycle and phases of a project
• planning and controlling the project
• implementing and monitoring
• communication techniques
• finalising the project

How will this benefit my organisation?

Every member of the project team becomes an asset when they understand the role and responsibilities of the manager. As manager or team member, your skills and knowledge will enable you to develop a project plan, evaluate the efficacy of the plan and address project
timelines and budgets.
