AIM Library Collection &
Services
The Library has a comprehensive collection of material
covering all aspects of management.
Library Collections:
DVDs, CDs and Videos: Covering a
wide range of topics including motivation, practical business needs
and talking books.
Journals: AIM subscribes to a range
of business, management and current news publications. Available for
use within the library.
On-line Research Databases: The library
subscribes to various on-line databases, that provide access to the
top management journals. Restricted to Members only.
Newspapers: The Australian, The Age, Financial Review and The Hearald Sun.
Reference: A collection of reference
books is for use in the library.
Library
Borrowing Conditions:
Loan Periods: The standard loan period
is three weeks.
Renewals: Items can be renewed over
the phone or via e-mail. Items may be renewed once providing no reservations
have been placed upon that item.
Reservations: For items currently on
loan, it is possible to place a reservation on the item. You will be
notified when the item is ready for collection.
Copyright: All items borrowed from AIM
Library are protected by copyright.
Overdue Items: Be aware - overdue items
incur overdue charges at the rate of $1 per day per item. Please phone
or e-mail to renew items. It is the borrower's responsibility to return
books on time. Overdue notices are mailed as a courtesy reminder only.
AIM Library reserves the right to suspend or withdraw borrowing privileges
when items are overdue. When an item is three weeks overdue, an invoice
for the full replacement cost of the item and an administration charge
will be mailed to you.
Research Services:
The AIM Library offers a fee-based research service that is fast, reliable
and confidential.

Mail Delivery
Services:
The AIM Library offers a Mail Delivery Service. Postal charges apply.
Regional Borrowers
- Members more than 50kms from the Melbourne CBD, will
be classified as "Regional Borrowers". The library will mail
up to 3 items at a time, to these members at no charge. The return cost
is the responsibility of the borrower.
- AIM Library reserves the
right to restrict the loan of certain items.
