Enact Business Thinking
Description:
Whether you are managing a team at work or leading a major corporation, your leadership style is crucial to your success. Many businesses today are over-managed and under-led; and need to develop their capacity to exercise leadership for sustainable success. The real challenge required to maximise your bottom-line result is to combine strong leadership with strong management; and to maintain flexibility depending upon the situation.

This presentation will discuss and review:
• What skills make a good Leader;
• What is it that Leaders really do;
• The primary Leadership Styles; and
• The key leadership and management skills needed for a balanced organisation;

Attendees will learn:
• The principles of business architecture;
• how to use business architecture to facilitate stronger leadership; and
• how business architecture can improve your business’s bottom-line.

Who should attend:
• Small to Medium Business Owners/Senior Managers;
• Managers with specialist technical skills that want to develop their leadership capabilities; and;
• Managers and Supervisors with direct responsibility for staff.

Using some “every day” business situations as examples, you will see how some simple improvements to your systems can change and improve the way you lead and manage. You will gain insights to become a “Situational Leader”; confidently switching instinctively between styles according to the people and work you are dealing with.
