In order to enhance competencies, motivation and
performance, managers must learn to carefully lead
and develop their team of individuals.
This program will focus on understanding the nature of people in workplaces
and how to help individuals and teams be more productive. A personal
development process is used throughout the course which is designed to
increase your self-understanding and career direction.

• Describe the theories of motivation and discuss contemporary approaches to
reward management
• Evaluate methods of performance and productivity improvement; consider
contemporary views on alignment of people and organisations via Balanced
Scorecard approaches
