Cloud Computing Survey
Conditions of entry
• Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Conditions of Entry. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over except employees and immediate families of the promoter, associated companies and agencies. The promoter is the Australian Institute of Management, Management House, 181 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, Victoria.
• Entrants of the competition are required to complete the online Cloud Survey
• Competition commences 3/8/11@2.30pm (AEDT) and closes 11/8/11@ 5pm (AEST). The winner will be the entry selected by the judges at the promoter’s premises on 19/8/11.
• Total prize value is valued at $100. Prize is $100 Myer Gift Voucher.
• Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters. Chance plays no part in determining winners. No correspondence will be entered into.
• The winner will be notified by email.
• All entries become the property of the promoter. Promoter reserves the right to publish entries. Entrants' personal information will not be disclosed to any party other than the Promoter, however, entrant's personal contact information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
• If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop-out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter that corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter [subject to any written directions given under the Lottery And Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA)] reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
• The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered, including but not limited to direct or consequential loss, or personal injury suffered in connection with any prizes. Any change in value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter.
Victorian Professional Development Forum voucher usage
Professional Members of AIM Victoria & Tasmania residing in Australia and graded Member level or higher will receive two complimentary Professional Development Forum voucher codes. Each voucher used in Victoria entitles the bearer to attend a Professional Development Forum held at Management House or an online Webinar. These vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash and may be used only by the named AIM member. The voucher expires at the end of the membership period. Vouchers are only valid for the specified forums or online webinars held in Victoria and will become invalid if the bearer’s membership is transferred to a state other than Victoria or Tasmania. Voucher codes may be used by members residing outside of Victoria or Tasmania as long as it is a Victorian or Tasmanian Professional Membership. Vouchers may only be redeemed for one forum or online webinar per voucher code and any balance remaining is forfeited upon redemption.
Victorian Event voucher usage
Professional Members of AIM Victoria & Tasmania residing in Australia and graded Member level or higher will receive one Event voucher code. Each voucher used in Victoria entitles the bearer to attend:
- One Professional Development Forum held at Management house or;
- One Webinar or;
- One Event (not deemed a Professional Development Forum) held at Management house or;
- One Event held at venues other than Management House where a portion of the cost will be covered by the voucher. The value of the discount will be stipulated on each event description on the AIM Victoria & Tasmania website.
If the Event voucher is used for an event held at venues other than Management House, the bearer will be required to pay the remaining amount by credit card, electronic funds transfer or cheque prior to the event.
These vouchers are non-transferable and may be used only by the named AIM member. The voucher expires at the end of the membership period in 2011 and will not exceed the 31st December 2011 unless otherwise stipulated on the voucher. This voucher cannot be redeemed for cash. Vouchers are only valid for the specified Events held in Victoria or Tasmania and will become invalid if the bearer’s membership is transferred to a state other than Victoria or Tasmania.
The use of Event vouchers for specified events such as International speakers, Business to business lunches and any other Events predetermined on the AIM website may not be included. Vouchers may only be used for one event per voucher and any balance remaining is forfeited upon redemption.
Tasmanian Professional Development Forum voucher usage
Professional Members of AIM Victoria & Tasmania residing in Australia and graded Member level or higher will receive two complimentary Professional Development Forum voucher codes. Each voucher used In Tasmania entitles the bearer to attend a Networking night or an online Webinar. These vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash and may be used only by the named AIM member. The voucher expires at the end of the membership period. Vouchers are only valid for the specified networking nights or online webinars held in Tasmania and will become invalid if the bearer’s membership is transferred to a state other than Victoria or Tasmania. Voucher codes may be used by members residing outside of Victoria or Tasmania as long as it is a Victorian or Tasmanian Professional. Vouchers may only be redeemed for one networking night or online webinar per voucher code and any balance remaining is forfeited upon redemption.
Tasmanian Event voucher usage
Professional Members of AIM Victoria & Tasmania residing in Australia and graded Member level or higher will receive one Event voucher code. Each voucher used in Tasmania entitles the bearer to attend either:
One Networking night or;
One Webinar or;
One Breakfast Series event
These vouchers are non-transferable and may be used only by the named AIM member. The voucher expires at the end of the membership period in 2011 and will not exceed the 31st December 2011 unless otherwise stipulated on the voucher. This voucher cannot be redeemed for cash. Vouchers are only valid for the specified events held in Victoria or Tasmania and will become invalid if the bearer’s membership is transferred to a state other than Victoria or Tasmania. The use of Event vouchers for specified Events such as International speakers, Business to business lunches and any other Events predetermined on the AIM website may not be included. Vouchers may only be used for one Event per voucher and any balance remaining is forfeited upon redemption.

Professional Membership
Professional Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
The rights and privileges of all Professional Members of AIM are not transferable. Upon resignation, non-payment or cancellation of Membership, the rights and privileges of AIM Membership including the use of post nominals cease immediately. Professional Members may transfer their Membership between states; each state has an AIM division.
Cooling off period/money back guarantee
If you decide that you do not wish to continue with your AIM Professional Membership application, you may cancel within 14 days of the payment date and receive a full refund for the Membership subscription amount you paid. After this period you are able to resign your Membership, however, we cannot refund any part of your Membership subscription amount paid.
Complimentary Professional Memberships under a Corporate Membership
Complimentary Professional Memberships allocated to individuals as part of a Corporate Member’s benefits are the property of the Corporate Member and not the individual. The expiry date of the Professional memberships will not exceed the expiry date of the Corporate membership. These memberships may be transferred to other employees covered under the Corporate Membership only. The memberships may only be transferred under the direction of the Key Contact of the Corporate Membership. Upon resignation, non-payment or cancellation of the Corporate Membership, the rights and privileges of AIM Complimentary Professional Membership including the use of post nominals cease immediately. Complimentary Professional Memberships may not be transferred for use in states other than Victoria or Tasmania.
Event and Professional Development Forum vouchers issued as part of the complimentary Professional Membership are the property of the Corporate Member. These vouchers may be used by any employee covered under the Corporate Membership. Only the individual who is allocated the complimentary Professional membership or the Key Contact may authorize other employees covered under the Corporate Membership to use the vouchers issued. $100 Professional Membership (Special Member rate for Employees of a Corporate Member)
$100 Professional Memberships may be purchased by an employee covered under a Corporate Membership. The Professional Membership may be purchased by either the Corporate Member or the employee themselves. The Professional Membership, regardless of who paid for it, is of the property of the individual in its entirety. Please see terms and conditions of the Professional Membership for more information.
Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. A single state Corporate Partnership allows employees covered in that state to access AIM services.
A Multistate Corporate Partnership allows employees covered in each nominated state access to AIM services in that state. AIM reserves the right to select which AIM services are made available to Corporate Members
Cooling off period/money back guarantee
If the organisation decides to not continue with its AIM Corporate Membership application, it may be cancelled within 14 days of the payment date and a full refund for the Membership subscription amount paid will be issued. After this period any part of the Corporate Membership subscription amount paid, cannot be refunded
Events & Professional Development Forums (Forums)
All bookings must be accompanied by full payment. Bookings will not be confirmed until such time as payment is received in full.
AIM does not issue refunds for event bookings, we will provide a credit towards an alternate event if you cancel no less than 5 working days prior. Credits are then valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation.
Alternatively if you are unable to attend a substitute is welcome in your place.

Photos may be taken at our events and used for promotional purposes by AIM VT. However you may request in writing, prior to the event, that images of you are not used for such purposes. Please email events@aimvic.com.au.
CorpSelect Membership
By completing a CorpSelect membership registration, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below, the AIM Privacy Policy and any other terms and conditions displayed on this website.
Corp Select is an Online Partner Benefit provided by the Australian Institute of Management – Victoria & Tasmania. This service includes restricted access to the Online Databases. This resource is provided for the purposes of enhancing management education, training and development, therefore shall not be used for commercial purposes or financial gain. The databases are only available to Delegated Authorised Users and are subject to copyright protection. Delegated Authorised Users must be currently employed and nominated by the above Company to access the databases.
The Australian Institute of Management – Victoria & Tasmania will provide current Corporate Partners with a number of complimentary Log Ons based on the category of Corporate membership.
Additional CorpSelects may be purchased. These additional CorpSelects are only available to staff members of the Authorised User.
User Name and Password:
Upon registering as a Delegated Authorised User you will be emailed a username and password. At all times the Delegated Authorised User is entirely responsible for all activities which occur under your user name and password.
This user name and password must only be used by the Delegated Authorised User and is not transferable.
It is the responsibility of the Authorised User to notify AIM if any CorpSelect Users leave the company or change their details.
All AIM CorpSelects are only available if the Authorised User is a financial member.
The Authorised User has responsibility for ensuring that all Delegated Authorised Users comply with the guidelines.
Confirmation
Written acceptance of this proposal is required before any agreed program arrangements can proceed.
Deferral
If a request to defer an accepted program is received in writing no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the agreed program commencement date, the program will be rescheduled without incurring a deferral fee. Please note only one deferral is permitted without incurring a deferral fee.
If a request to defer an accepted program is received within fourteen (14) days of the agreed program commencement date, a deferral fee totaling 10% of the program facilitation fee will be charged. Please note, if the agreed program is deferred more than once, the deferral fee will increase to 20% of the program facilitation fee for each subsequent deferral.
These fees will be included with the final agreed program invoice.
Cancellation
If a request to cancel an accepted program is received in writing no less than twenty one (21) days prior to the agreed program commencement date, the program will be cancelled without incurring a cancellation fee.
If a request to cancel an accepted program is received between twenty one (21) and fourteen (14) days prior to the agreed program commencement date, a cancellation fee totaling 25% of the program facilitation fee will be charged.
If a request to cancel an accepted program is received within fourteen (14) days of the agreed program commencement date, a cancellation fee totaling 50% of the program facilitation fee will be charged.
Payment Details
Payment terms strictly 14 days.
Confidentiality
The Australian Institute of Management guarantees complete confidentiality of information obtained. The information obtained belongs to the Client and will not be disclosed to any other organisation without written permission of the Client.
Copyright & Ownership
All intellectual property pertaining to this contract is and will remain the property of the Australian Institute of Management. Copyright will rest with the Australian Institute of Management.
Venue Requirements
Training held at an off site Client Venue must meet the requirements for a Training Facility as determined by the Office of Post Compulsory Education, Training & Employment. The provider must comply with all laws relevant to the operation of training premises including occupational health and safety and fire safety regulations. Training premises must be of adequate size and have adequate heating, cooling, lighting and ventilation. Training facilities, equipment and other resource materials must be adequate and maintained in good order and repair.
Loan Periods
The standard loan period is three weeks.
Renewals
Items can be renewed over the phone or via e-mail. Items may be renewed once providing no reservations have been placed upon that item.
Reservations
For items currently on loan, it is possible to place a reservation on the item. You will be notified when the item is ready for collection.
Copyright
All items borrowed from AIM Library are protected by copyright.
Overdue Items
Be aware - overdue items incur overdue charges at the rate of $1 per day per item. Please phone or e-mail to renew items. It is the borrower's responsibility to return books on time. Overdue notices are mailed as a courtesy reminder only. AIM Library reserves the right to suspend or withdraw borrowing privileges when items are overdue. When an item is three weeks overdue, an invoice for the full replacement cost of the item and an administration charge will be mailed to you.
Research Services
The AIM Library offers a fee-based research service that is fast, reliable and confidential. Please contact the Library for further information.
Mail Delivery Services
The AIM Library offers a Mail Delivery Service. Postal charges apply.
Regional Borrowers
Members more than 50kms from the Melbourne CBD, will be classified as "Regional Borrowers". The library will mail up to 3 items at a time, to these members at no charge. The return cost is the responsibility of the borrower.
AIM Library reserves the right to restrict the loan of certain items.
